The tea harvest
Lipton's Seat Tea plantation, Sri Lanka, 2019
Every day, I climb the mountain as a tea picker. At dawn, a large bag awaits me at the foot of the mountain, which I sling over my back and fill leaf by leaf with tea. At the end of the day, exhausted by fatigue, my bag is full and I return home with a few dollars in my pocket for my family. And tomorrow, I will begin this journey to the mountain again.
