The Burden
Jaisalmer, India, 2017
This burden on my head, the weight of oppression and discrimination that has long weighed on us. It is also to assume the role of a fighter for equality and justice, by wearing the symbols of the struggle for emancipation. This burden can be heavy to bear, but it is also a source of pride and solidarity, which gives meaning and strength to those who accept it.
